As you browse through this website we hope that you will sense the love and enthusiasm that permeates throughout our parish. We are an active congregation, enjoying Christian fellowship and reaching out to others with the Good News of God's love for us all.

The design behind the altar forms the symbol of the "Tree of Life". Our roots are deeply embedded in our faith in God and we believe that Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches who continue to do His work and mission in the world.

Our church has people of all ages and programs for everyone. We encourage our members to invite family, friends and neighbours to join us for worship and a variety of community events.

Along with the Rector, we also would like to take this opportunity to welcome you most sincerely to the St. Matthew on-the-Plains, Burlington .

This is a congregation with historical roots going back to the middle of the nineteenth century, but the welcome extended to newcomers who are seeking a Parish Home is forever young and warm.
