Children’s Programming

Children of all ages are always welcome and included in church.

Church School (ages 4 – 10)

Christian education of our children is, to a large extent, the responsibility of the parents, with help on Sundays from dedicated teachers who work to foster and support family home worship. Classes are held downstairs in the Church Hall and start at 10:30. At the beginning of the offertory hymn the children return to receive Holy Communion or a Blessing with their families. Occasionally they remain downstairs to complete their activities.
Children are encouraged to participate in Church School, where they will learn with other children at their own level. However, they are welcome to stay in church with their parents if they wish. During the months of July and August the children remain upstairs in Church with their families. Coloring and activity sheets are available from the Narthex table.

Junior Youth Group (ages 11 – 14)

This group meets in a room in the Parish Hall at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. They enjoy good fellowship and raise a variety of faith issues during their meetings.

Each year we enjoy a Christmas Pageant presented by the Church School and Youth Groups. The children are also involved in a variety of ministries throughout the church.
