OPEN HOUSE You are cordially invited to visit the girl’s youth room following the 10:30 service today. The girls are proud of their newly decorated space and they look forward to offering light refreshments to all their guests.

LUNCH MONEY TUESDAY Please consider joining us for this event to raise money for Food for Life, a food recovery program in Halton. This agency receives fresh food from grocery stores and restaurants and delivers it the same day to feeding sites. Food for Life is supplying some of the food for our Out-4-Lunch pilot project. If you can help during the morning commute on May 29th, please sign up in the Narthex.

REFRESHING ENTERTAINMENT Our very own Fred Edgeworth will be offering musical entertainment during the coffee hour following the service on June 3rd. Please plan to listen, sip and enjoy.

OUT-4-LUNCH Please spread the word: East Plains, Holy Rosary, West Plains and St. Matthew’s are serving up lunch and friendship to Aldershot seniors. Lunch will be served tomorrow, and every Monday until July 30. Doors open at noon. It will be our pleasure to serve you

CALLING ALL GRANDMOTHERS  Are you able to assist Janet Moko in the Nursery on an occasional Sunday? We are learning that we need two adults working with each group of children. Please speak to Leanne McAlister, or Derek, if you are able to help.

AN ACW LUNCHEON will be enjoyed at the Lord Nelson Restaurant on Tuesday June 12th at 12 noon. This is an invitation open to all parishioners, male or female. If you’d like to join the ladies for a fun social luncheon, please sign the provided sheet in the Narthex or call Bev Daher (905-681-2149). Reservations are recommended so we will need to know how many people will be attending.

LIKE TO DO GARDENING? We could use your help pruning, weeding and planting in the church garden beds. Contact Margret Sweetlove if you’re interested.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL This summer, your kids will participate in “ReNew: The Green VBS™”. ReNew is about hope, opportunity, and service. Kids will serve their community and demonstrate that being green can be easy, faithful, and fun! VBS will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 1382 Ontario Street, August 13th to 17th from 9:00am to noon. $20 per child (family of 3 or more $45) This program is suitable for all school aged children. CHURCH PICNIC Join us Sunday June 10th, 2012 at LaSalle Park (Area 2) following the 10:30 a.m. service. There are games for the whole family to participate in. Please bring your own utensils, dishes, beverages and lawn chairs. Invite your friends and family. See you there!
